*** We are CLOSED at this time. As you may know, St. Thomas was badly damaged by Hurricane Irma on September 6th, 2017. Blackbeard's Castle suffered mainly roof damage although it was not as bad as many other structures on the island. Skytsborg Tower continues to stand tall as does Blackbeard's statue. We will rebuild but do not have a re-opeing date at this time. God bless and protect the beautiful Virgin Islands and its people. ***

There is also an option for a guided tour. You will hear of the island's pirate legacy as you visit Skytsborg Tower (originally a 17th century Danish military tower). The view of the harbor is spectacular and a must see. Enjoy the view while taking a dip in one of Blackbeard’s three pools. Continue your tour down the hill through three breathtaking manor houses: Villa Notman, Haagensen House and Hotel 1829, all listed in the National Register of Historic Places. History comes alive as you view the world's largest collection of life-sized pirate sculptures, crafted in copper and bronze.
